| It looks as though a big swell could be on the way for the weekend! A low pressure pushing in from the west will bring with it some strong southerly winds, these winds will generate some pretty large windswell along the east, south, and west sides of the island on saturday morning, but then the winds should turn light northwesterly during the afternoon, and this will clean up the swell to give some crazy conditions along the east and south sides of the island with at least 6ft of swell and offshore winds! On sunday the winds will stay in the north and this will clean up a decent groundswell that will be pushing up the channel, which will be at its best during the morning.
